First, i want to introduce about my self. I'm a girl. I am twenty one, and i take my business in the future market, especially stock indices. Everybody says that future market is a high risk market (that's true) but worst they mean "the future market is bad". and
I want to share a little bit of my secret, and it's only for the one who loves trading in stock indices. The secret is "The most important way in future market business is defense, not offense" Offense here means strategy, charity, making money, explore your emotion and feeling ; ya..in future market YOU HAVE TO CUT ALL OFFENSE..!!
First, you have to do is wake up in the morning, then finish all the things with your self. Get relaxed and feel fresh air convenience.
Second, try to know what happened with the economic global yesterday and what the next news come out today. You can see it in the business website such as

cnbc.com
forexdaily.com...etc
when you get more information about economic global, you are in fundamental area. And you will know why the market should move. Classifying them in two categories, good or bad. Example, export retirement, goods production retirement, unbalanced trade balance are ones of bad news. And low jobless claims, low inflation (CPI), are ones of good news.
While you get news, you have to examine, are those news make the country condition better or worse? Then you can compare how much the impact to the market you trade.
Don't think about the difficult way. Thinking about an easy way. Easy impact. If the production in one country gets low, the growth worse. (that's the idea ^-^)
Third, prepare everything to write. Clean paper, pen, calculator, and a bottle of mineral water (if needed)
Finally, learn about the technical analysis which i will recommend you one by one. Of course that must be simple indicators to analyze.
